The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center is part of a community rich in its ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic diversity. Yet even amid so many different philosophies and life styles, we all share the same goals and concerns about living productive lives, educating our children, and providing for the health and well-being of our families.

For more than 80 years, Brookdale has cared for and about the health of the community. We take pride in our reputation for medical excellence, yet we also take equal pride in being known as "the hospital with a heart," where compassion is a vital component of healing.

As we continue to meet the challenges of providing quality health care, our first priority, now as always, is taking the best possible care of our neighbors. In that spirit, Brookdale is active in the community's affairs, and consistently invites the community's feedback as we plan for today and the future.
