A comprehensive program dedicated to prevention, early intervention and treatment of issues and behavioral illnesses encountered by our aging population and their families.
The Geriatric service strives to improve psychological well-being, maximize individual potential and enhance the quality of life as people make their adjustments to aging.
Special Programs
Geriatric Homebound Treatment Team: A dedicated cadre of behavioral health professionals who will provide evaluation and ongoing behavioral health care to patients and their families in the home setting.
Alzheimer's Care: Special emphasis for those patients and their family members who have been newly diagnosed and are in the early stages of the disease. Coordination and access to the latest medical treatments can be arranged with our excellent Department of Neurology. |
