The Department of Urology is staffed by a full-time chairman assisted by three full-time and 12 voluntary urologists.
The Department of Urology is responsible for a large clinical service that includes both inpatient and outpatient units, and an active clinical and basic science research program. Its activities are based in the Chernow Urological Research Center, an on-site facility that includes a urological operating room, its own recovery room, laboratories, examining rooms and offices.
The entire scope of urological care is provided in the department including treatment of prostate cancer, other urinary tract cancers, impotence, infertility, stone disease, urinary incontinence and pediatric urology.
