The Department of Neurology utilizes an 18-bed neurology inpatient service, electroencephalography, electromyography, state-of-the-art magnetic resonance, computerized tomographic head and spine scanning, cerebral angiography, and myelography.

The department is staffed by four hospital-based neurologists and several more on the visiting staff. Two full-time neuroradiologists are provided by the Department of Radiology for consultation and special procedures.

Three adult neurology clinics are held weekly, and adult neurologic consultation rounds are held daily.  In their first two years, house staff rotate through the neurology service, and electives in neurology are available to third-year residents and medical students.
